BET Awards Preview: Justin Bieber to Attend, Beyonce, Lil Wayne Among Performers and Nominees

The annual awards show airs Sunday at 8 p.m.

BET will honor the best and brightest in hip-hop and R&B music on Sunday June 26 with their 11th annual "BET Awards."
This year boasts an impressive list of performers including Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce and Young Money'sLil' Wayne and Drake. Also set to take the stage is Beyonce's former Destiny's Child groupmate, Kelly Rowland.
Steve Harvey, who has had a troublesome year following his ex-wife's accusatory YouTube videos, will be honored with the Humanitarian Award. Also being recognized is songstress Patti LaBelle, who will be on-hand to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In attendance will be Usher protege,Justin Bieber, though there's no word yet on what he will be doing. Bieber tells MTV that he's rooting for Drake to take home some hardware and though he's not nominated, the 17-year-old is keeping mum on whether he'll make an on-stage appearance or not.
For the biggest award of the night -- Video of the Year -- there are six contenders.
"Far Away" by Marsha Ambrosius, "Airplanes" byB.o.B. and Hayley Williams, "Look at Me Now" byChris Brown ft. Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, "Pretty Girl Rock" by Keri Hilson, "Whip My Hair" by Willow Smith and "Runaway" by Kanye West ft. Pusha T are all in the running.
The event will broadcast live from Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles with comedian Kevin Hart set to host. Tune in to BET on Sunday at 8 p.m. to watch.
