And while her singing career has been put on hold, Amelia Lily's social life has catapulted into the spotlight.
The 16-year-old is adamant her face won't be forgotten, just because she was eliminated from the first live X Factor show last Sunday night.

Dressed in a figure-hugging red leather dress, together with a large bow on her belt, Amelia seemed to channel a cross between Katy Perry and a more rebellious Pixie Lott.
The teenager was attending the Zaggora Hotpants launch party at Mall Galleries, despite not opting for shorts herself.
She also headed over to the Shingai Shoniwa & Katherine Elizabeth Collection launch party held at Sketch.
The pink-haired songbird should be careful she doesn't end up at the opening of an envelope soon though.

On Wednesday, she joined fellow reality rejects Jonjo Kerr, James Michael and 2 Shoes duo Lucy Texeria and Charley Bird for a night on the tiles.
The singing wannabes were celebrating the Just Dance 3 launch party at Il Bottaccio restaurant, alongside The Only Way Is Essex cast.
Amelia is obviously enjoining her new found fame though, having taken to Twitter to inform her fans - of which she has now accrued 56,000 followers.

The ITV1 star also revealed she is wasting not time getting back onstage, adding: 'Performing at club revenge in brighton tomorrow night, get yourselves there!xx'
