aussieBum's new-age approach to men’s brief

Global men's life style brand aussieBum announces its latest range, 'Man', a whole new, raw approach to men's underwear. Highly refined, but low maintenance, this range contours the body for the wearer who wants a superior shape and uncomplicated comfort and to be left feeling polished and powerful.

'Man' is a redefined, refined version of brief underwear that is stripped, Underwear Elasticof heavy banding, classically masculine and timelessly sexy. 'Man' has a supportive fabric, yet is light to the touch. The new age 'Man' is no myth down under. He makes a statement simply and comfortably in his own skin.

Says aussieBum founder, Sean Ashby, "There is so much unnecessary analysis and discussion out there about who the new age man is and the lengths he's supposed to go to evolve, but it really doesn't have to be that complicated for a man to be sexy, strong and refined. Our new range, 'Man' is the next generation of men's brief that has been specifically designed with lightweight, supportive fabric for ultimate comfort. Its form fitting cut is free from loud branding or extra bells and whistles. The underwear is there to complement - rather than distract from - the man that is wearing it."

Blake Lively Bioghraphy

At the age of 17, Blake Lively stepped into a shared pair of big screen blue jeans and, along with her fellow co-stars America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn, became a rising star with the teen set after starring in her first major role, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (2005). Perhaps it was fate that the blonde California-bred actress, who was born in the morning and napping on a film set later that day, would one day end up in front of the camera. Following her breakout role in “Sisterhood” (2005), she put an academic path aside and finally succumbed to a family tradition, later achieving an even greater level of fame by landing the lead role on the hit CW drama, “Gossip Girl” (2007- ).

Born on Aug. 25, 1987, Lively was raised in Tarzana, CA in a close-knit show business family. Her father, Ernie, was a veteran Hollywood actor and director; her mother, Elaine, a talent agent. Lively was the youngest of five siblings, a group which included her actor brothers Jason and Eric and actress sisters Robyn and Lori. At five years of age, she lost out on a major role in the Robin Williams comedy “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993), but was one of two finalists. Her parents attempted to alleviate any possible nervousness by telling the young Lively that she would be acting opposite Williams’ twin brother in her audition. At age 10, Lively had made her acting debut in a film entitled, “Sandman” (1998), but the experience did not leave her wanting more work. Lively had little interest in acting and no plans to go into the family business, as there were plenty of siblings to carry on that mantle. Instead she focused on her studies. As a student at Burbank High School, she became a nationally recognized choir singer and a popular figure at school, as both her class president and a cheerleader.

Despite her academic leanings, Lively’s siblings were convinced their sister had the family gift and would take to it if given the right opportunity. In 2003, older brother Eric took her on a two-month jaunt across Europe, hoping to help her determine her future. A year later, he then took the liberty of introducing her to his agent, insisting she should be sent out to read for parts. One day, their agent set her up on an audition for a feature adaptation of the coming-of-age novel “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (2005). Lively loved the material, but did not have an acting resume. Her audition consisted of the presentation of her headshot and an exit, but the producers and director Ken Kwapis saw what they were looking for in her nonetheless.

Just before the end of her junior year of high school in 2004, Lively was off to Mexico to film her scenes for “Sisterhood…” playing one of four friends who split up during one summer of discovery and pass around a lucky pair of jeans. As Bridget, the group member who pursues soccer and love while spending her summer at a soccer camp, Lively spent two months beforehand prepping her soccer. In an uncomplicated bit of casting, her dad took the part of her onscreen father.

By the time Lively’s senior year rolled around, she had been bitten enough by the acting bug, that she deferred an admission to Stanford University for fall of 2005 in order to continue her career. Over that summer, she took a part in her father’s producing effort, the thriller “Simon Says” (2007), in which she starred along with Lively’s sisters, Lori and Robyn, as the terrorized victims of demented killer Crispin Glover. “Sisterhood” was released in June to glowing critical reviews and became a modest box office hit. She then continued on with Universal Pictures’ college comedy “Accepted” (2006). Looking for more dramatic challenges, Lively also starred in the independent drama “Elvis and Anabelle” (2007), in which she played the part of a dead beauty queen resurrected by the kiss of Max Minghella’s morgue worker.

Upon the release in “Accepted” in the summer of 2006, Lively was already transitioning into two new challenges, particularly the world of television and series leading roles, as the anchoring actress on the pilot for “Gossip Girl” (The CW, 2007- ), a teen drama series based on the series of Cecily Von Ziegesar novels of the same name. Lively took on the role of Serena, a savvy girl operating within New York’s privileged and debauched world of private schools. The program premiered in the fall of 2007 and was one of the more talked-about debuts, garnering enough ratings to return the following year when the writer’s strike of 2008 cut its first season short. Meanwhile, Lively had proved a hit with young audiences and earned a number of Teen Choice Awards. She followed with the successful sequel “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” (2008), which found her character a year older and contemplating an archeology career abroad. Lively next had a supporting role in the adaptation of Rebecca Miller’s bestselling novel “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” (2009) and appeared in one of the twelve short films that made up the anthology, “New York, I Love You” (2009).

Megan Fox Is A Naughty, Naughty Girl

Here’s a brand spanking new poster and a bunch of promo pics for Jennifer’s Body starring a very naughty and sexy looking Megan Fox. I gotta tell you, the people behind this movie are doing everything right to get everyone to run and see the flick. Megan Fox as a naughty school girl, sexy cheerleader, uninhibited prom queen, etc… The only thing missing is me and Megan alone in detention. I know that has nothing to do with the pictures, but it’s all I can think about right now. Cheers.

Kristin Chenoweth effortlessly transitions between stage, television and film with the captivating grace that only she can project. Chenoweth also performed in the Broadway comedy Epic Proportions and in the Kander and Ebb musical Steel Pier, for which she won a Theatre World award. Chenoweth also performed in an Off-Broadway production of Moliere’s Scapin for the Roundabout Theatre Company.

Television fans know her as Annabeth Schott on The West Wing, the librarian, Marian Paroo, in ABC’s movie version of Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man, and Lily St. Regis in the television adaptation of Annie. Kristin also starred in her own series Kristin for NBC.

Moviegoers have seen her in Deck the Halls with Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick, RV with Robin Williams, Bewitched with Nicole Kidman, Running with Scissors with Annette Bening, and The Pink Panther with Steve Martin. Her film credits also include a cameo in Stranger Than Fictionwith Emma Thompson. Kristin is currently developing a feature film based on the life of Dusty Springfield.

A veteran of the concert scene, Kristin took the stage in a solo sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall in 2004 and continues to tour the country. She performed her solo concert at Sam Mendes’s acclaimed Donmar Warehouse as part of the Divas at Donmar series. The show received glowing reviews. Following her show in London, Chenoweth has had numerous collaborations with various symphonies, including The New York Philharmonic, Boston Pops, National Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony. One of her proudest accomplishments recently was having the privilege to perform Bernstein’s Candide at Lincoln Center with The New York Philharmonic. She is scheduled to have her Metropolitan Opera debut in March 2010 as Samira in John Corigliano’s The Ghost of Versailles.

Chenoweth is also an accomplished recording artist. Following the success of her albums Let Yourself Go and As I Am on Sony Classical, she is gearing up for a third album.

Demi Moore

An impatient teenage Demi wanted to follow her acting dreams so she dropped out of Fairfax High School before graduating. The acting work was slow-coming at first, so she had to resort to (gasp!) nude modeling. She didn’t have to wait long for her big break and was cast in General Hospital (Kelly Monaco). She left the modeling (but not the nudity) behind when she starred in Blame It On Rio (Michelle Johnson). This film is best remembered for the awe-inspiring amount of flesh bared by Moore and her costar Johnson.

Demi then hit it big with St. Elmo’s Fire (Ally Sheedy, Andie McDowell) where she played a coke-head. She starred opposite Patrick Swayze (and his hair) in the box office smash "Ghost". Her marriage to Bruce Willis only fueled the Demi-mania sweeping the country. She posed naked and pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair which made men feel equal parts horniness and shame. Perhaps her most well-known role was in Indecent Proposal where Robert Redford paid her and her husband a million dollars to sleep with her.

Aside from a small part in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore), Demi took the late 90s to raise her kids out of the public eye. The spotlight returned in 2005 after she started dating the much younger Ashton Kutcher. Their marriage earned him the title “Luckiest Human Being Who Has Ever/Will Ever Live”.

Moore legally changed her last name to Kutcher two years after marrying husband Ashton Kutcher. However, she continues to use Moore in her professional life and her acting roles.

According to the New York Times, Moore is "the world's most high-profile doll collector", and among her favorites is the Gene Marshall fashion doll.

Lady Gaga To Write Fashion Column Books

Lady Gaga does not hide her love of fashion, so it is nice to see that she will get the chance to write about it in a magazine. V Magazine has hired Gaga to write for their upcoming summer issue’s fashion column. Here is what Gaga tweeted about the news.
Lady Gaga

Are you happy that Lady Gaga gets a chance to write about fashion now? I wonder if she will wind up designing her own fashion line? Or at least team up with a bigger label for a smaller collection? She clearly adores fashion, so I don’t see why she won’t end up one day designing her own line.

Are you planning to buy the magazine to see what she wrote? I have a feeling that it won’t be long until she publishes a book about her fashion tips. She could quickly become as a well of known fashion icon as Victoria Beckham.
