End of the standoff: Facebook have apologised to teen bride Courtney Stodden for deleting her page on the social network site
Controversial teen bride Courtney Stodden has received an apology from Facebook after it deleted her page due to 'inappropriate sexual conduct.'
The company said the 17-year-old, who infamously married 51-year-old Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison in May, had her account removed by accident.
It follows the revelation that she had been denied access to the site after seemingly falling foul to censorship.
Her page has since been restored.
In a statement the company said: 'This page was removed in error and has been restored.
'We apologise for any inconvenience caused.'
Courtney's mother Krista Keller said she was relieved the matter had been cleared up.
She told E! she and her daughter were 'happy that it was finally addressed' and hopes 'maybe Facebook can look at the cyber bulling and do something more proactive.'
She added: 'Putting a stop to cyber bullying is something Courtney is very involved in.
Bizarrely Krista promised not to hold a grudge against billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
She said: 'We always felt it was happening in the lower level somewhere. We have the utmost respect for Facebook and Mark.'
It was business as usual on the starlet's page today, as she received a host of insults and moral advice from users appalled at her marriage to Hutchison and her love of flaunting her body.

Krista was fuming when her daughter was temporarily removed from the website.
She was sent messages saying she has been denied access due to 'inappropriate sexual conduct' when she tried to sign into Facebook.
Krista insisted her daughter had been singled out by 'jealous' women, who she claimed reported racy photographs to the site's administrators.
She added that no naked photos were posted - but told E! News that female users are ganging up on Courtney because they are envious of how sexy she is.
Facebook has also pulled down some fan sites dedicated to Stodden.
Risque: Courtney Stodden has posted a racy photo and tweeted: 'Too sexy for Facebook?' after she was banned from the site for inappropriate sexual conduct
Rushing to her daughter's defence, Keller told E! News: 'It's the jealousy from the women towards her.
'The men love her, the women hate her. The women report the photo because it's so easy to do. You just click a button. They think she's too sexy, they all report her together, and it's done.'
She continued: 'On any Facebook page, people can report it for inappropriate content.
'There is nothing on her page you wouldn't find anywhere on Facebook. She has never done any nudity. Not a breast, not even a butt cheek. It's just her in a bathing suit!'
Garnering opinion: The 17-year-old, who married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison this summer, also linked to a news story about it
Keller concluded: 'A lot of men and young girls love her page, but when the wives see their husbands on her page, they team up to get Courtney kicked off.
'When Facebook gets enough reports on one page, it locks her out.'
This was not the first time Courtney has been kicked off Facebook.
Keller says she has been denied access around eight to ten times before.
Courtney has now posted a sexy snap on Twitter, with the message: 'Too sexy for Facebook?'.
She also linked to a news report detailing her Facebook booting - so is apparently not too averse to the publicity.

'I'm all natural': The Hollywood wannabe has denied claims she has been surgically enhanced, with Doug insisting 'God is her only plastic surgeon'
Stodden made headlines this summer after marrying 51-year-old Lost actor Hutchison when she was aged just 16.
The couple married in a Las Vegas ceremony in June with Krista signing a consent form so the nuptials could take place due to her daughter being under the age of 18.
Stodden and Hutchison have done little to fan the flames surrounding their controversial union.
Just a month after getting hitched they took part in a nauseating recorded interview, where Stodden praised her new husband's bedroom performance.
She also insisted she only lost her virginity after tying the knot.
'He's a tiger,' Stodden told E! Online about Hutchison's sexual prowess.
Speaking out: Courtney's mother Krista Keller, centre, says jealous female Facebook users reported her daughter to the site's administrators
Recognising how their marriage had caused a stir, Doug said: 'Globally, we have become the most controversial couple in the world...We didn't anticipate that.'
Courtney is an aspiring model, actress and singer. She met Doug online after signing up for acting classes on his website.
Critics have suggested she has had plastic surgery to increase her breast size - although Stodden has firmly denied the reports, insisting she is all natural.
Speaking this summer, Hutchison said: 'A lot of the critics are saying that Courtney is a fake... That's she's a Barbie doll, fake boobs, fake lips, fake nose, fake hair - but God was her only plastic surgeon.'
'I was born this way out of the womb,' Stodden added. 'Like, hello world!'
