But Victoria Beckham knows that there is no better advertisement for her label than if she wears the clothes herself.
The 37-year-old designer chose to wear one of her own creations for the second day in a row this morning as she took baby Harper on a shopping excursion to Barney's New York in NYC.

The star chose a brown version of the cat print shift dress, a red version of which was seen during her Victoria by Victoria Beckham catwalk show on Monday.
She paired the dress with the platform shoes she designed in collaboration with Charlotte Olympia, worn by models wore on the runway.
Victoria held on tight to a sleepy looking Harper, two months, who was cosily wrapped in a blanket.

Just the day before she stepped out in a blush pink capped sleeved shift dress - a spring/summer design from her signature Victoria Beckham collection.
The mother of four recently said she is thrilled to be out of maternity wear.
'It’s actually quite nice to get out of an elasticated waist and into fashionable clothes again,' she admitted.
She also discussed how she balances having a newborn with running her fashion business.
'I’ve had to develop a very strategic way of working. But Harper has also done her bit. She’s so well behaved,' Victoria shared.

Meanwhile her husband of 12 years, David Beckham, was busy receiving gifts from Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show as she compared the growing Beckham brood to that of Brad and Angelina's.
'You want five kids, so then it's a seven,' she told him. 'That's probably why you're doing it.'
'What can say?' the dashing athlete responded.
'I love the number seven.'
'If we were lucky enough to have another one, it would be great,' David admitted.
'We always spoke about having a big family. We love children. We are very blessed to have four healthy children so if one comes along that would be amazing.'
Ellen gifted him with a pink LA Galaxy tracksuit and matching booties, perfect for when Harper is ready to start following in her footballer father's footsteps.
